With an eclectic musical background, I often find myself working in film, collaborating with filmmakers to help tell their stories. Connection - Short Film (2026)

The setting for this film was the Namib Desert and a a minimal approach was adopted for the score. It is filled with isolated fretless guitar melodies accompanied by textures that seem to fade into the vast, desolate landscape

Baleka - Short Film (2025)

Baleka is a short film set in a dystopian Cape Town filled with unrest and threats of violence. After our initial conversations about what role music would play in telling the story, director Estiaan Labuschagne and I decided to draw inspiration from 80's Darkwave and the atmospheric synth textures found in this decade's most iconic sci-fi films.

Teya - Buy Local (2025)

Telling Teya's story of empowering local businesses with hassle free payment methods called for an emotive score, driven by gentle textures and atmospheres. The film's storytelling is honest, filled with real people doing what they do best. The music amplifies these stories by subtly supporting the narrative.

Dark Chronicles - Crime Documentary Album (2025)

Dark Chronicles is a collection of tracks originally written to accompany Crime Documentaries. The work is centered around a few motifs that return in ever deteriorating and evolving ways. The concept was to convey something that feels broken and somewhat ominous. Cut outs of found sounds, nervously played string passages and broken drum sounds all work together to put the listener in a space that feels slightly jarring and in need of resolution.

Bru & Boegie - Get The Milk (2025)

A point-and-click hand drawn game filled with Bru & Boegie's iconic one liners. It follows their adventure to the Shoppie to buy some milk and all the characters they meet along the way. The score is eclectic, mostly drawing inspiration from the game's unique humor.

Bru & Boegie - Short Film (2025)

Created by Mikdog's Mike Scott, Bru & Boegie Meteorite is a rollercoaster of adventure that follows two unlikely heroes who set out to save the world from complete destruction. The score is rooted in silliness and some chaos, drawing on Funk, lo-fi elements, Marabi and 8 bit Game music from the 80's.

Slow Wave Sessions (2022)

Slow Wave Sessions consists of a collection of short pieces constructed using minimal musical material which was filtered through old analog tape machines, sometimes cut up and reassembled until the musical heart of the tracks revealed themselves. The result is a sound world that is fragile and intimate.

Wesgro - Get In A Good Space (2021)

This score was produced for Wesgro tourism and showcased the beauty of Cape Town through intimate snapshots.

Troll Girl (2023)

A heartfelt story of a troll girl overcoming her insecurities and realising her full potential, created by Giantslayer Studios in partnership with Triggerfish Animation. The theme was partly inspired by old nursery rhymes and a desire to create a sound world that sounds otherworldly as much as it does familiar.

Finding Freedom - Life After A Life Sentence (2016)

Directed by Roxanne Dalton, the film tells the story of two Parolees, Franklin Esau and Malcolm Booysen who have to navigate life after parole.
